During this week of Thanksgiving, we are grateful for the amazing individuals at the heart of who we are and what we do. Learn more about what makes us tick as you get to know our diverse team.
From HR consultants, IT personnel and administrative associates to account managers and sales leaders, our team members are dedicated to client success and community involvement.
This month meet Kimberly Aschenbach. She has been a part of the McClone team for more than six years and serves as an Account Executive in our Sheboygan office.
Let’s learn more about her.
As an account executive, I team with our risk advisors to serve as a bridge between clients and insurance carriers. Risk management has a lot of moving parts, so my day-to-day work is filled with various responsibilities as I help guide our clients through a variety of ways to mitigate risk. I assist with policy renewals and changes from clients, and I am available to answer any questions along the way.
I really enjoy getting to know my clients and helping them with their everyday insurance needs. It’s very satisfying to know that I am helping people protect their livelihoods and get through tough times. It’s easy to feel helpless in the face of adversity and I appreciate that I have the opportunity to make a difference.
By now you’ve heard from several employees about how awesome our coworkers are—and it’s all true! I love how well we all work together as a team to make sure our clients have what they need, and I appreciate how much fun we have doing it.
We talk a lot about our company’s core values—humility, service to others, attention to detail, hard work and continuous self-improvement, and a family-friendly environment—and it’s not just talk. McClone has a positive company culture that supports its employees to be the best versions of themselves – at work, certainly, but also outside of work with our families and in our communities.
In my time with the agency so far, I have seen the company grow and develop in exciting ways and I continue to be excited about where we are headed.
I wouldn’t necessarily describe myself as ambitious—I tend not to set specific goals. Instead, I am mostly interested in continuous self-improvement. I always aim to be better at everything I do. I guess you could say my ambition is to learn and educate myself more every day. I want to keep doing the best job that I can to give clients a consistent and outstanding experience.
My husband Matthew and I have been married for 10 years. We enjoy motorcycle riding (I am the happy passenger while he drives 😊) and we have done a few charity rides and plan to do more.
We are also fans of camping and watching the car races at Road America in Elkhart Lake. Every year we attend the Indy Car and IMSA races and camp at the racetrack for those weekends. We are especially excited for the upcoming 2021 race season because we bought season passes for the first time.
