Offering flexibility doesn’t mean less work gets done or that work won’t get done on time. Rather than working in isolation and being fueled by a sense of competition, Millennials typically prefer to work in groups and build strong working relationships to achieve goals. These group settings spur creativity, and the collaboration helps capture new ideas. It’s this kind of brainstorming that can fuel growth within a company. In fact, companies that promote collaboration are five times as likely to be high performing. Millennials are also resourceful and are adept at using technology and crowdsourcing, and they back their assumptions with data.
